As probably one too many previous posts have demonstrated, we had a lot of fun on vacation in July. We seriously loved close to everything about Portland and Boston and going back soon wouldn't bother me for one second. As much fun as we had fun seeing the sites and being total tourists, the loveliest stop we made was to the Boston Massachusetts Temple. We had a few hours to kill before checking into our hotel and the weather was cooperative so one of us stayed outside and kept Peter from falling down the many staircases while the other one went inside to do temple work.
Peter loved walking around the temple grounds. There were lots of long sidewalks, steps, and stairs to keep him entertained.
Not mention endless plants, bark, and rocks to check out and sample. Yummm.
He also spent a lot of time trying to open the doors. The older couples coming out of the temple and the brothers at the front desk got a kick out of it...
After scouting out the area for a good hour and a half Peter was ready to move along... probably because he never got those doors open and we were running out of snacks. And because I wouldn't let him run around the parking lot... not sure why he was so determined to do that but uh... sorry man.
Thanks for a lovely afternoon, we always enjoy visiting the temple. Maybe in a year or two we'll come back. (:
