happenings of the last 8 months: daddy time.

Here we are in our last installment of the "happenings of the last 8 months" series. I waited a while to post this one because really I wanted to save it for Father's Day... because fathers is what it's all about people!

One of the sweetest things I've been able to witness these last ten months is Todd becoming a father. Todd's love for Peter is incredible. I can hear it in his voice when he sees his face on Skype. I can see it in his texts when he asks how Peter is doing during the day. Even when Peter was teeny tiny and just wanted to be held 24/7 Todd was the first to volunteer. He has spent many hours pacing around the house to keep Peter happy. He even stayed up until unheard of hours of the night watching TMNT with our little night owl. What an amazing example of love and sacrifice.

Here are some pictures of my two favorite guys in the world. They always have so much fun together, no matter what kind of adventure they are taking on.

Happy Father's Day, Todd. You are a wonderful dad... Peter and I love you a ton! What would we do without you? Seriously though...

p.s. Happy (grand)father's day to my dad and Todd's dad as well. Thanks for showing us what fatherhood (and grandfatherhood hehe) is all about. We appreciate all you have done for us and hope to someday be just as awesome as you are. (:
